CarDS Lab welcomes Sarnoff Fellow Ryan Choi!

We are pleased to welcome Sarnoff Fellow Ryan Choi to the Cardiovascular Data Science Lab (CarDS-Lab)!

Ryan Choi is a fourth-year medical student at Stanford University, joining our lab through the Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Fellowship!

He graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Quantitative Biology. At Stanford University, he leveraged -omics technologies to investigate cardiovascular disease with a focus on the pathogenesis of thoracic aortic aneurysms.

Driven by a passion for translational discovery, Ryan is eager to develop and apply artificial intelligence (AI)–electrocardiogram (ECG) models and deep learning to advance diagnostics and unravel the biological mechanisms underlying cardiovascular disease.

Outside of the lab and school, Ryan enjoys the outdoors, often playing pickup basketball, cycling, and backpacking with friends and family.
