Setting up iPhone
Charge iPhone
Locate lightning charging cable and plug one USB-c side into charging the charging block and the other USB-c side into the charging port located on the iPhone.
Plug the charging block into and electrical outlet
Set up iPhone by selecting your default language
Add vid/info
Log into your Apple ID
Add vid/info
To set up the ECG app, open Health app (review step)
Follow the onscreen steps. If you don't see a prompt to set up, tap the Browse tab, then tap Heart > Electrocardiograms (ECG) > Set Up ECG App
Setting up Apple Watch
Charge Apple Watch by placing it on the round charger
Battery charging icon on your watch face means it’s charging
Full charge takes 1.5 hours and battery lasts for 18 hours of “normal” use
Pairing Apple Watch to iPhone
Hold your iPhone near your Apple Watch, wait for the Apple Watch pairing screen to appear on your iPhone, then tap Continue.
Tap Set Up for Myself.
When prompted, position your iPhone so that your Apple Watch appears in the viewfinder in the Apple Watch app. This pairs the two devices.
Follow the onscreen instructions to set up the following:
Terms and Conditions (select “agree”)
Find my watch (select “dont enable find my watch”)
Create a passcode
Siri (select “dont use siri”)
Personalize Fitness and Health (select “continue”)
Activity (select “skip this step”)
Workout route tracking (select “disable route tracking”)
Safety (select “continue)
Apple Pay (select “Set up later”)
Once the onscreen instructions are complete your iPhone will display a screen stating the apple watch is syncing.
The watch face will show when the syncing is finished and your watch is ready to use.
*You may receive a notification saying the Watch needs to be updated
Place watch on the charger in the vicinity of the iPhone
May take up to 2-3 hours to update
Setting up CarDS+ App
Open the Apple App Store
Search for the ‘Cardsplus App’ and install
Upon opening the Cards+ app, the Health app permissions screen will open
Check the box for all health data
Log in to the CarDS+ App with an email and password
We encourage you use the same email/password as your Apple ID (review)
Collecting ECG
Strap the Apple Watch around your left wrist snugly so that it does not move
Locate and open the ECG app on the Apple Watch
With the hand opposite your watch, hold your finger on the Digital Crown. You don't need to press the Digital Crown during the session
Finish collection by selecting “done”
Transmitting the ECGs to the CarDS+ app
Log into the CarDS+ app using your login username and password
Navigate to ECG tab
Select the correct ECG and click the red get predictive analysis button
Select Okay on the pop up
Close out of that ECG
Repeat step to submit the second ECG
