James Wallace
Project Coordinator
James Wallace, MPH, is a Project Coordinator in the Cardiovascular Data Science (CarDS) Lab at Yale School of Medicine. He earned his Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Delaware and brings experience in public health research, healthcare quality measurement, and project coordination across academic and community health settings. His work centers on supporting multidisciplinary research teams, managing project workflows, and translating technical concepts into clear, actionable outputs.
Before joining CarDS, he worked at Yale’s Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE), where he contributed to CMS measure development, implementation, and evaluation initiatives aimed at improving healthcare quality and outcomes. Following his work at Yale CORE, he contributed to advisory work with Maverick Health Policy focused on the evolving AI regulatory environment and emerging standards for AI in healthcare. Earlier in his career, he supported statewide health priorities in Delaware through research and community engagement efforts.
In the CarDS Lab, he looks forward to supporting innovative cardiovascular research that bridges data science and clinical impact, with the goal of improving disease detection, prediction, and patient care.
