About
US communities differ widely in their cardiology workforce, their burden of cardiovascular disease, and their readiness to use digital health tools. These dashboards bring the three signals together. They accompany our study of digital readiness for cardiovascular care [link citation here], which identifies workforce-constrained communities and distinguishes census tracts with higher digital readiness (deployment priority) from tracts with lower readiness (investment priority).
The tools draw on the HRSA Area Health Resources Files, CDC PLACES, and the Purdue Digital Divide Index. They cover every US county and more than 46,000 census tracts in workforce-constrained communities.

Priority labels indicate relative priorities under the chosen thresholds. They do not establish readiness for any specific intervention. The dashboards are for research and demonstration and are not intended to direct clinical care or resource allocation. Both dashboards follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA.
