David Han is a medical student at Yale interested in developing artificial intelligence and agentic engineering frameworks to accelerate biomedical research.

He graduated from Brown University with a B.S. in Chemistry and Computer Science, where he researched RNA-protein phase separation with the Department of Molecular Biology and analyzed health information gaps using natural language processing as part of the Innovation Futures Lab.

Prior to joining the CarDS lab, he worked as a research associate at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the Belfer Center for Applied Cancer Science, concurrently obtaining an MS in Health Informatics from Boston University. His research focused on using patient-derived organotypic spheroids (pDOTS) to assess novel cancer therapies and determine mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapy.

David enjoys traveling, tennis, playing chess, and learning bass guitar in his free time.
