Postgraduate Research Associate

Anvi Sud graduated from Yale University with a Master of Science in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics after completing her bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, with a minor in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, at Delhi Technological University.

Prior to joining the CarDS Lab as a Postgraduate Associate, Anvi conducted research in clinical artificial intelligence, multimodal machine learning, medical imaging, and computational biology. Her work includes developing multimodal large language models for clinical decision support, digital twin models for precision radiotherapy, foundation models for cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and computational genomics. She also worked in healthcare data science and analytics at Trinity Life Sciences, applying real-world clinical data to support biopharmaceutical strategy and patient-centered decision-making.

At the CarDS Lab, Anvi's research interests include machine learning, data science, and Multimodal AI for cardiovascular medicine. She is passionate about translating advances in machine learning and clinical NLP into meaningful tools that support earlier diagnosis, personalized treatment, and more data-driven cardiovascular care. Outside of research, she enjoys traveling, trying new dessert spots, and listening to music.
