Alejandra Hagewood is a graduate of San Diego State University, where she studied Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry. Her previous public health and clinical work with underserved and underrepresented communities both locally and internationally, has solidified her dedication to reducing disparities and barriers in healthcare.

She is interested in utilizing data science driven methods to make precision-based cardiovascular care more accessible and patient-centered.

In her free time, she loves reading, listening to music, and playing video games with friends.
